Network of Accreditation Bodies for Engineering Education in Asia (NABEEA) is a network of respective accreditation bodies in Asia. The network (NABEEA) was established at the first General Assembly, held on August 8, 2007 at Penang, Malaysia. This network is expected to promote engineering education and develop mutual cooperation towards better accreditation systems in Asia.
What we do
Facilitate members to be signatory of Washington Accord
Cooperation for the development of engineering
education as well as development of accreditation system
Serves as a platform in bringing countries together to discuss on issues related to Washington Accord as experienced by the Asian countries
Exchange of information relating to engineering education and its accreditation system
Identification of the similarities and dissimilarities
Seeking for the harmonisation of accreditation systems

1) Every NABEAA’s activities will be conducted by the members on voluntary contributions.
2) The Chair, Secretariat and Council members will work on voluntary basis.
